TEN Brisbane installs Kondor 2, Provideo

Network TEN refitted their CAR recently. Naturally they selected Codan Broadcast products including a Kondor 2 routers and a wide variety of Provideo interface products. The Kondor 2 was ideal for Network TEN. As they expect to migrate further towards HD in the future they needed a product with SD and HD capabilities in the same frame. The Kondor 2's flexible architecture allows SD or HD expansion simply by adding the appropriate I/O cards - no modifications need to be made to the router frame or switching core. TEN also installed 12 Provideo frames full of modular interface cards. The Provideo range includes a wide range of products from which TEN selected reclocking, non-reclocking and monitoring DAs, embedders and deembedders, video encoders and decoders. "Network TEN has been a fabulous customer of ours over many years", said Justin Adams, Codan Broadcast's Manager of Sales & Marketing. "We believe the relationship we share works well for both parties. We aim to be an excellent supplier and they are of course a great customer to be involved with."
