Codan Broadcast today announces a significant reorganisation of its product range. The commitment to the promise of “Always On Time and Always On Quality” has been further elevated and this decision enhances the company’s ability to deliver this promise.

The net effects of this decision are:

1. Some products that have been in the marketplace for several years are being discontinued
2. Many products have either reduced in price or increased in functionality or specification

Discontinued Products
While discontinued products may no longer be purchased, they continue to be supported, subject to component obsolescence. As always, customers are welcome to contact us for any of the following

• Technical support
• Operational and technical product information
• Documentation in PDF format
• Warranty and non-warranty repair services
• Spare parts and modules

As part of our last-time-buy program (see below) we are also making sufficient service stock to ensure our capability to deliver warranty and non-warranty services is not compromised.

Consolidation of Product Variants
Previously, some of our products (the Provideo series in particular) offered many variants of individual products allowing us to supply customers with options that customised a product exactly to their needs. Now we’ve decided to rationalise these, keeping the variant with the most features and options but reducing the price to that of the standard variant.

In the NK series of routers there were previously two models of analogue audio and analogue video routers – standard and premium (premium having wider bandwidths and generally higher specifications). From now on these models will all be premium specification models but will retain standard model pricing.

The end result for customers is reduced prices and/or increased functionality.

Last Time Buy Program
A comprehensive run-out plan for all discontinued products is in place to ensure that all customers become aware of our product rationalisation and have an adequate opportunity to take action.

Orders for discontinued products will be accepted from today for a further 2 months (until COB Thursday August 31^st).
