The Provideo AES-108N eurocard AES digital audio distribution amplifier provides a broadcast quality solution to the distribution of AES digital audio signals.

Two models are available within the range: AES-108N-BNC and AES-108N-PHX.  Both models have unbalanced 75Ω or balanced 110Ω inputs.  The AES-108N-BNC 75Ω version caters for applications where long cable runs are required.   The  AES-108N-PHX model operates in both unbalanced 75Ω and balanced 110Ω facilities.

Automatic cable compensation for up to  700 metres of high quality coaxial cable can be accommodated on the AES-108N-BNC model, and 200 metres of balanced 110Ω  cable for the AES-108N-PHX model.

Both models provide for input and output isolation.  A 10Mb/s isolating/coupling transformer ensures excellent input to output and output to output isolation.  Input and output voltage isolation is 500 V DC.

AES-108N models have eight outputs from one input. The output level is 1 V p-p for 75Ω and 3.5 V p-p for 110Ω irrespective of the valid input range signal level. On the  AES-108N-BNC all eight outputs are unbalanced 75Ω, and on the AES-108N-PHX six 110Ω outputs and two 75Ω outputs are provided. All 75Ω connectors are BNC; all 110Ω inputs and outputs use Phoenix 3-pin connectors.
