The Provideo MDS-801N-LC  (formerly HDS-801N) eurocard HDTV digital switchers provide broadcast quality solutions to routing SD / HD digital signals.

The MDS-801N-LC is designed using state of the art componentry and offers unique packing density of up to 8x1 SD / HD signals switching on one eurocard.

Advanced switching crosspoints are used in the MDS-801N-LC, which offers superior performance. Provision is made for synchronous vertical interval or non-synchronous switching.  The vertical interval switching signal is derived from the last selected input.

The inputs are equalised and can accept up to 80 metres of high quality cable at HD.  The output is reclocked providing a low jitter output signal irrespective of the jitter that may be present on the selected input.  Dual outputs are provided as standard.

Control of the MDS-801N-LC series is via standard local and optional remote control panels.  Local control buttons are provided on the card edge. Remote control is achieved by parallel single wire per crosspoint.  The MDS-801N-LC series can be tied to any other PV Series eurocard switcher(s) for follow applications.  LED tallies are provided on the same active low switch control line.
