RDA-110N
Reclocking SDI / ASI Distribution Amplifier

Manual Service Bulletins Firmware FAQs

The Provideo RDA-110N eurocard re-clocking serial digital distribution amplifier provides a broadcast quality solution to the distribution of serial digital SDI and ASI signals.

The RDA-110N re-clocks and regenerates the serial data removing accumulated jitter that may be present at the serial input.

The RDA-110N is designed using the latest technology and accepts 270 Mb/s Serial Digital Interface (SDI) or Asynchronous Serial Interface (ASI) signals.  Automatic cable equalisation is provided and typically up to 300 metres of high quality cable at 270 Mb/s can be equalised.

Ten outputs are provided on the RDA-110N from one input.  All 10 outputs can be fed through to the rear assembly or link selection output 10 can be redirected and used to feed a monitoring output to the front PCB BNC connector.

All outputs support SDI and ASI serial digital signals.  If power fails or if the module is removed, the input signal is bypassed to output 1.  LEDs indicate the status of the serial digital distribution amplifier.

Precision bipolar integrated circuits are used and are capable of data rates of up to 400 Mb/s ensuring some future proofing.
