The TG-2004B is an analogue video to SDI and analogue audio to AES/EBU converter that also embeds the digital audio into the SDI signal stream.  It includes a proprietary time base/frame synchroniser to compensate for poor quality video sources such as those from VCRs or satellite feeds.  The TG-2004B features the ability to embed two analogue audio sources with an analogue video source to an SDI output.  It also has the ability to optionally send the source audio to an AES/EBU stream in addition to the encoded video.

The TG-2004B conforms to SMPTE 259M-C and ITU-R BT.601 standards and can be used with Codan Broadcast’s NK-IPS to access additional configuration and customisation options.  The NK-IPS allows configuration from a web browser interface, while also showing statistics for the video stream.  Enhanced features (via the IPS) include Macrovision® detection, hue, colour saturation, brightness and contrast adjustment.

The TG-2004 is ideal for the multitude of applications that require both analogue audio and video to be converted and processed to the digital domain.
